Many families choose to schedule sessions during the golden hour, which is the hour just after sunrise or before sunset when the lighting is soft and flattering. However, we're flexible and can accommodate your needs and preferences.

  • Choosing coordinating outfits can help create a cohesive and polished look for your family photos. Opt for colours and styles that complement each other without being too matchy-matchy. Solid colours, subtle patterns, and layers can add visual interest while still allowing your family's personalities to shine through.

  • Absolutely! Pets are an important part of the family, and we love capturing their unique personalities in your family photos. Whether it's a playful pup or a cuddly cat, furry friends are always welcome to join in the fun. Just be sure to bring along any necessary props or treats to keep them happy and engaged during the session.

  • Family photo sessions usually last around 40 - 60 mins, depending on the size of your family and the location of the session. We'll take our time to ensure that everyone feels relaxed and comfortable, capturing a variety of poses and groupings to create a diverse gallery of images for you to cherish.

  • It's completely normal for children to feel shy or apprehensive during a photo session, especially in unfamiliar surroundings. Rest assured, I have experience working with children of all ages and temperaments, and I'll do my best to make them feel comfortable and engaged throughout the session. From playful games to gentle encouragement, we'll work together to capture beautiful moments that reflect your family's love and connection.
